Candice B & The Light Meter

Candice B & The Light Meter is an Edmonton-based indie folk project. Tagged indie folk / strumming stories, the music lives in reflective songwriting, unhurried, and shaped by acoustic textures.
 

Led by singer-songwriter Candice Bartlett, the project leans into simplicity and presence, giving each song room to breathe. Bartlett is also the founder and director of Edmonton’s indie community choir, The Vox Collective.
 

Golden Hour, an EP currently in production, is slated for release in early 2026. Expect songs about love, nature, finding light in the dark, and being a light in the world.

Recent releases include stripped-back originals and carefully reimagined covers.
