Candice B & The Light Meter

Candice B & The Light Meter is a Canadian indie folk singer-songwriter —the moniker of Edmonton-based creative Candice Bartlett. Drawing inspiration from artists like Fruit Bats, Ricki Lee Jones, and Bon Iver, the music blends warm acoustic textures, layered harmonies, and thoughtful songwriting into a sound that feels both intimate and expansive. Balancing modern indie folk sensibilities with classic songwriter restraint, the songs lean into atmosphere, subtlety, and emotional honesty.

Her new EP, Golden Hour, explores resilience, connection, and finding light in seasons of change.
