​Candice B & The Light Meter is a Canadian indie folk singer-songwriter. Drawing inspiration from artists like Fruit Bats, Ricki Lee Jones, and Bon Iver, the music blends warm acoustic textures, layered harmonies, and thoughtful songwriting into a sound that feels both intimate and expansive. Balancing modern indie folk sensibilities with classic songwriter restraint, the songs lean into atmosphere, subtlety, and emotional honesty and are rooted in themes of nature, connection, love, and finding light in the world.

Bartlett is also the founder and director of The Vox Collective, Edmonton's indie community choir, where her love of harmony and collaboration continues to shape the project's sound.
